Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. In 2023, the company served 528 customers with 11,895 products for high performance computing, smartphones, IoT, automotive, and consumer electronics, and is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs with annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

The Sustainability Engagement & Strategy Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s ESG communication strategies. This role focuses on enhancing stakeholder sustainability awareness and driving meaningful action through creative campaigns, strategic content dissemination, and multi-channel engagement. The role requires direct engagement with the company’s executive management team to align ESG initiatives with corporate strategy and business goals. The manager will oversee projects, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with global ESG standards.

1. Develop and implement creative ESG engagement strategies to raise sustainability awareness and influence stakeholder behavior.
2. Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute multi-channel campaigns, including events, digital marketing, and corporate initiatives.
3. Create high-impact multilingual ESG content tailored to diverse audiences across different platforms.
4. Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including direct collaboration with the executive management team, to promote ESG initiatives and foster long-term engagement.
5. Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies to optimize impact.
6. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability.
職務要求
1. 15+ years of experience in ESG, marketing, communications, or related fields, preferably with people management experience.
2. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Sustainability, Digital Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or related fields.
3. Exceptional written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Japanese or German is a plus.
4. Digital proficiency in Microsoft Office, SEO tools, and CMS platforms; basic understanding of digital content development.
5. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities, capable of influencing senior executives and driving behavior change.
6. Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
7. Strong leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in high-tech or semiconductor industries.
2. Demonstrated success in leading creative campaigns that have driven stakeholder action on sustainability issues.
