Responsibilities
(Immediately after hiring)
The Accounting Staff member is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks to support the accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial transactions. This role involves maintaining financial records, processing invoices, maintaining accurate and complete records of fixed assets, tax filing, and assisting with month-end closing procedures. The role might be changed based on periodical job rotation in the team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Japan Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing, Inc. (JASM) is a subsidiary established in Kumamoto Prefecture. TSMC is a majority shareholder of JASM, whereas Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation, Denso Corporation, and Toyota Motor Corporation are minority shareholders. JASM is TSMC's first manufacturing facility in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. It was established to meet the strong global demand for semiconductors. By supporting our customers with the highest standard of specialty semiconductor technologies, JASM works to promote innovation in all Japanese industrial sectors, including automotive and image sensors, and thereby contribute to the revitalization of the Japanese economy.
Minimum Qualifications
- PC skills (Excel, PPT, Word)

- Ability to handle high volumes of work accurately and in a timely manner

- Native/Fluent level Japanese
Preferred Qualifications
- Good in English and Chinese will be a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
Working Conditions
1. Location: (Immediately after hiring) 4106-1 Haramizu, Kikuyou-machi, Kikuchi-gun, Kumamoto, 869-1102 (Scope of Change) Location determined by the Company
2. Working Hours: 8:30~17:30
3. Holidays/Vacations: Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays / GW vacation, Year-end and New Year vacations *Follows the vacation regulations according to the company calendar
