Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. In 2023, the company served 528 customers with 11,895 products for high performance computing, smartphones, IoT, automotive, and consumer electronics, and is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs with annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

We are on the hunt for a talented iOS Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting enterprise-grade mobile applications tailored for the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Your expertise will empower our operations with enhanced mobility solutions, contributing to the advancement of semiconductor manufacturing processes. Job Responsibilities
1. Design and develop high-quality iOS applications for iPhone and iPad using Swift and Objective-C.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers to define, design, and implement new features.
3. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following iOS development best practices and guidelines.
4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the stability, performance, and usability of the applications.
5. Optimize application performance and memory usage to deliver smooth and responsive user experiences.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends, technologies, and frameworks to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
7. Participate in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing activities to foster a collaborative and innovative development environment.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers as needed.
9. Contribute to the planning and estimation of development tasks and participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings.

Job Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience developing and shipping iOS applications for iPhone and iPad.
3. Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
4. Strong understanding of iOS app development frameworks, APIs, and SDKs.
5. Familiarity with UIKit, Auto Layout, Core Animation, and other iOS UI/UX design principles.
6. Experience with version control systems such as Git.
7. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with SwiftUI and Combine frameworks.
2. Familiarity with CoreData or other data persistence frameworks.
3. Experience with RESTful APIs and networking libraries (e.g., Alamofire).
4. Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins).
5. Published one or more applications on the App Store.
6. Active participation in the iOS development community through forums, blogs, or open-source contributions.
