Overview of Role

TSMC North America is looking for a Summer 2025 Legal Intern here at our office in San Jose, CA. This internship program is open to students who have already completed their Bachelor’s degree and have completed at least one year of law school. You will be reporting directly to the Sr. Director of our North America Legal Division. We are currently operating in a hybrid work schedule with 4 days onsite.

 

Responsibilities

  • Research and drafting support on complex domestic and cross-border transactions.
  • Research and drafting support on standard-form contracts.
  • Negotiation and dispute resolution support.
  • Assist in review of important case law and statutory developments.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree and have completed at least one year of law school.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Detail oriented with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to concurrently handle multiple assignments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Possess excellent research, writing, and English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent in Mandarin is a plus.

At the time of this posting, this role typically pays an hourly rate between $36.00 and $42.00 per hour. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.
