TSMC Arizona is looking for an Electrical Systems Construction Intern to join our 4-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. TSMC Arizona’s New Fab Construction Department is responsible for engineering and construction spanning all disciplines including CSA (Civil Structural, Architectural), MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Process), and specialty systems (gas & chemical delivery systems, clean room systems, ultra-pure water systems, wastewater treatment, etc.).

 

Job Description:

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Working side-by-side with the TSMC construction teams, electrical engineering team, and construction crews to work on TSMC electrical systems including low voltage systems, medium voltage distribution systems, and high voltage systems up to 230kv.
  • Monitor and track key construction activities in the field with TSMC construction managers all electrical installation and troubleshooting work.
  • Work on forecasting, reporting, and work planning activities with TSMC project management.
  • Assist to troubleshoot commissioning problems, construction hold-ups, field issues, and help respond to RFIs from the construction crews in the field.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university, in [one of] the following degree programs: Bachelors/Masters of Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) on-site at our Phoenix location, from:
    • Semester system: May 19th, 2025 – August 1st, 2025.
    • Quarter system: June 16th, 2025 - August 30th, 2025
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (PPT, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be able to walk around active and changing construction site for extended periods of time to monitor construction and commissioning activities in multiple places.
