To help us build the foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate: 

Process Engineer

ESMC Germany module engineering departments are looking for process engineering talents to join our competitive technology fab, located in Dresden, Germany. As a Process Engineer, you will focus on delivering a robust and efficient semiconductor manufacturing process with data driven analytics and systematic problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibilities
1. Designing and executing experiments, interpreting and extracting insightful results from complex data sets to optimize the manufacturing process and achieve precision control at atomic levels.
2. Applying statistical process control methods to establish and sustain a robust manufacturing process.
3. Qualifying and sustaining manufacturing process to expand capacity with speed and quality.
4. Collaborating effectively with equipment and material suppliers and partners to identify technology gaps and deficiencies; devise, evaluate and qualify mitigation and continuous improvement solutions.
5. Driving continuous improvements on process stability and capability, quality, reliability, yield, productivity, and safety.
6. Scheduled evening shifts, weekend on-duty, and on-call in a 24/7 high-volume manufacturing environment are required for business needs.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications and Education:

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Germany and have:

1. Bachelor’s, Master’s and/or Diploma or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related fields.
2. Academic skills in numerical analysis, statistics, optics, chemistry, or physics.
3. Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process and design would be a strong add.
4. At least 1 year experience in semiconductor industry as Process Engineer is a strong add.
5. Flexibility to change priorities and responsibilities to support business needs.
6. Willing to work in a clean room environment.
7. Polished presentation and interpersonal skills.

Must have experience:

Experience as a semiconductor manufacturing process engineer is a plus.

Language Skills:

1. English: Full Professional Proficiency or Native. 
2. German: Basic.
3. Mandarin: Nice to have.

Communication style: concise, data driven manner

1. Good communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to work on cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
2. Able to adapt priorities and responsibilities to support business needs.

7. Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and to own the efforts to address and resolve root causes.

Training/Onboarding:

Training in Taiwan for a period of at least 6 months
