We are seeking a dedicated Module Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments, including Integration, Product Yield, Lithography, Etch, Diffusion, Implanter, Chemical Mechanical Polish, Thin Films, and Quality, to drive and implement process improvements.

 

While this position is scheduled to work core business hours, Monday-Friday, there may be times when additional hours are necessary.

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Collaborative Process Improvement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and execute process enhancements.
  • Process Stability: Maintain and sustain the stability of existing processes to ensure consistent and reliable performance.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and manage process-related expenses to optimize cost-efficiency.
  • Process Transfer: Facilitate the smooth transfer of processes between different stages or departments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality.

 

Requirements: 

  • Highly motivated individuals with a strong technical background and capabilities to develop and sustain process technologies for flash memory, analog and logic products.
  • Minimum Bachlor degree in an engineering and scientific field such as Materials Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Optics.
  • Basic technical understanding of IC processing equipment, integrated flow, chemistry and physics.
  • Exhibit good and open communication skills
  • Work within cross-functional teams, including both internal and external customers.
  • Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles.
  • Hands-on participation in fab manufacturing environment and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Display engineering characteristics including:

                    - Adaptability: The capacity to adjust or change priorities to meet company goals.

                    - Data-driven: Using data to logically drive engineering solutions.

                    - Result-driven: The determination to find ways to achieve success.

Pay Transparency / Benefits statement 
At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $80,100 and $97,900 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience, and the position level.  TSMC’s total compensation package consists of market competitive pay, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
