Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. In 2023, the company served 528 customers with 11,895 products for high performance computing, smartphones, IoT, automotive, and consumer electronics, and is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs with annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.
Job Responsibilities
1. Lead the payroll system implementation from design to production.
2. Develop policies and procedures.
3. Follow company audit controls and procedures.
4. Process and audit payroll transactions including new hires, separations, benefits deductions, tax deposits and required tax filings.
5. Process time data, shift premiums, overtime, rate changes, adjustments, bonuses, garnishment, expense, travel and relocation reimbursement, time off pay tracking and reporting.
6. File and maintain payroll records.
7. G/L posting of Payroll.
8. Respond to employment verification requests.
9. Create and distribute reports as needed.
10. Assist with various projects within payroll and to support company needs.
Job Qualifications
1. Education requirement : MST degree+ in Human Resource related field.
2. 5 years above of related experience.
3. Certified Payroll Professional preferred.
4. Knowledge of payroll/timekeeping systems.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills.
6. Working knowledge of Taiwan employment laws and payroll regulations preferred.
7. Ability to work independently and with resourcefulness.
8. Deadline oriented.
9. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
10. Ability to work under pressure.
