Network Service Engineer

Job Summary/Role

We are seeking outstanding engineers to join ESMC IT infrastructure team to build and operate IT advanced Data Center to support world-class semiconductor foundry. This team is responsible to design, implement and optimize IT infrastructure toward software-defined computing, storage, and networking with advanced cloud technologies. The successful candidate should have strong technical skills and dedication for operation excellence.
Job Responsibilities
1. Wired (Cisco, HP, Juniper) network operation and management.
2. Wireless (HPE/Aruba MM/MD/AP, Cisco WLC/AP) network operation and management.
3. Network monitor tool (Cacti, Splunk, MicroFocus NNMi) operation and management.
4. Network performance monitoring and problem troubleshooting.
5. Network Infrastructure related project management and architecture design.
6. Continuous improvement tasks for operation excellence.
7. IT new technology survey and adoption for productivity improvement.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications and Education:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Automation or Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field with equivalent practical experience.
2. 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Network Engineer or related experience.
3. Strong project management, communications, and interpersonal skills.
4. Working experience of semiconductor, hi-tech manufacturing or international large-scale company is preferred.
5. Good communication skills and enthusiastic personality.
6. Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCDP/CCSP, HPE/Aruba ACMP/ACMP/ACMX are desired.
7. Cisco/HP/Juniper Switch and Router network management.
8. Network Layer2 (MAC) and Layer3 (OSPF, BGP) protocols.
9. Network management protocols (SNMP, ICMP).
10. Network communication protocols (TCP/IP, FTP/SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, Telnet/SSH, etc.).
11. Passion for new technology adoption and operation excellence.

Language Skills:

Fluent in German and one of English/Mandarin.

Training/Onboarding:

3 – 6 months onsite training in Taiwan.
