Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

A Data Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics and apply the data to manage the entire payroll process from start to finish. This includes computing salaries and wages, performing voluntary and mandatory deductions, generating assignment compensation statements, and performing annual reconciliation. In this connection, this role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
1. Collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics to perform the following analyses:

(1) Analyze historical data to understand what has happened in the workforce over a specific period.
(2) Examine data to understand the causes of past events and behaviors within the HR domain.
(3) Use statistical models and forecasts for HR planning based on current and historical data.
(4) Provide recommendations on how to handle future situations and challenges in HR by analyzing potential outcomes and scenarios.

2. Collate and process the monthly payroll of all overseas assignees, including their salaries, overtime payments, deductions, and bonuses.
3. Prepare annual compensation statements for assignees and maintain regular updates of assignment data.
4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficiency of the entire payroll processing system.
5. Assist in improving the overall planning and control of the HR department.
Job Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or any other related field.
2. Excellent communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
3. Proficiency in MS Office and operational knowledge of HRMS systems is an added advantage.
4. A problem solver with a curious mindset and quick decision-making ability.
5. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, resource- and time-constrained environment.
6. Excel in a confidential work environment.
7. Flexibility to meet different business needs with detail-oriented skills to review large data sets accurately.
