Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. In 2023, the company served 528 customers with 11,895 products for high performance computing, smartphones, IoT, automotive, and consumer electronics, and is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs with annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.
Job Responsibilities
1. Manage daily operation of the end-to-end relocation cycle for International Assignment, whilst ensuring compliance with global tax, social security, and immigration legislation.
2. Provide guidance / advice / relocation cost projections to respective stakeholders (both HR and Line Managers) on applying Mobility policies / packages for any potential international move.
3. Act as the point of contact for stakeholders at all levels (HR / Line Managers / Assignees) to consult mobility-related questions.
4. Provide reports to respective Regional HR and maintain an effective tracking of International Assignment movement.
5. Work with finance / Regional HR and other key stakeholders to support payment / expense management process takes place as agreed by the home and host business.
6. Identify, review, and improve the existing mobility operation process to drive best solutions and efficiency / effectiveness for stakeholders.
7. Collaborate with relocation vendors / Regional HR to drive successful employee communication on relocation. (both mass and individual)
Job Qualifications
1. Excellent communication skills and be able to share information among different stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
2. Flexible, positive and patience with a can-do mentality.
3. Trustworthy working attitude with passion, high commitment and accountability.
4. Able to handle sensitive and stressful situations.
5. Able to see improvement in current process and challenge status quo.
6. At least 3 years of relevant working experiences in Global Mobility / relocation services / HR.
7. Strong relocation case management skills.
8. General knowledge of global compliance / legislation. (Immigration / personal Tax)
9. Fluent in both Chinese and English. Japanese is a plus.
