To help us build the foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate: 

ESMC Accounting Manager

Supervision of the daily operation of all General Accounting affairs of ESMC. Strategic development of ESMC’s Accounting processes and tools to increase operational efficiency and maintain strong controls. Lead, develop and further grow ESMC‘s Accounting Team. The candidate will report to the CFO of ESMC.
Job Responsibilities
1. Supervision of the daily operations of general accounting affairs, including but not limited to monthly, quarterly and annual closing, accounts payables, account receivables, fixed assets, cash disbursements as well as Income Taxes and VAT 
2. Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages and ad-hoc analysis
3. Conduct tax planning and analysis and be the main contact for HQ tax department and external tax consultants
4. Review of business contracts from accounting’s perspective
5. Support System Implementations or upgrades, especially SAP and related systems
6. Support the application of subsidy and incentive programs and communicate/negotiate with government officers
7. Act as main contact person for external audits as well as internal audits
8. Partner with other departments to design efficient accounting related processes and procedures and maintain a strong control environment
9. Collaborate with HQ accounting colleagues to analyze IFRS rules and compliance, and to implement differences between IFRS and German GAAP in local operation
Job Qualifications
Qualifications and Education:

1. Master’s or Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting

Language Skills:

Negotiation and contract-proof (C2) German and fluent English (C1) skills

Professional Skills:

1. 10+ years of relevant professional experience in an international environment
2. Experienced leader with 5+ years of people management experience
3. Proficient in SAP system and MS Office skills

Personal Attributes:

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
2. Self-motivated and able to work independently
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
4. Ability to collaborate effectively with subordinates, peers and management team

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

1. Accuracy and punctuality of deliverables
2. Continuous improvement of efficiency and internal controls

Location: Dresden, Germany.

*Onboarding in Taiwan for 1 to 2 months
