Who We're Looking For:

TSMC Washington is seeking aexperienced Engineers with a Bachelor's or higher degree in relevant fields and over 5 years of semiconductor experience goal-oriented individuals to fill the position of Customer Service Engineer in our Customer Service Department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment and be responsible for leading and managing cross-functional teams to deliver excellent customer service and achieve high customer satisfaction levels. This role will act as the primary service contact for customers, the regional office, and TSMC HQ at the TSMC WA location.

 

 Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Handle customer's tapeouts and follow through pilot material shipment as well as test result

  • Prepare and host customer meetings/visits and follow up action items.

  • Clarify customer's requests and act as coordinator for integrated customer-centric response in a timely manner.

  • Understand customer's business goal, lead and manage cross-functional team to track the execution, and take the initiative to work out a solution to meet customer’s need and TSMC’s goal.

  • Track customer account/project's status and sustain customer satisfaction.

  • Team up with TSMC HQ Customer Service team aligning on account handling strategies.  

  • Collaborate with Account Management team on potential business opportunity and demand forecast.

 

Requirements: 

Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business/engineer or a related field.

  • Over 5 years of experience in a semiconductor environment is required.

  • Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate effective teamwork and relationship-building with both internal teams and external customers.

  • Strong customer orientation with effective time management skills to track, prioritize, and fulfill customer requests.

  • Proven capabilities in project management or experience in customer-related management are considered a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Please note, in compliance with Washington state regulations, the drug screen will not test for cannabis (marijuana) use.

Work Location & Schedule: 

This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm; however, there may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $112,260 and $125,213 per year. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $112,260  - $138,166, depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.

* This position is also eligible for a Sign-On Bonus depending on various factors.

* This position is also eligible for a Relocation Bonus depending on various factors.
