To help us build the foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate: 

Equipment Engineer

ESMC Germany module engineering departments are looking for equipment engineering talents to join our competitive technology fab, located in Dresden, Germany. As an Equipment Engineer, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values – Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust. Manufacturing process with data driven analytics and systematic problem-solving skills.
Zuständigkeiten
1. Maintain equipment performance in clean room environment for quality production.
2. Handling on-duty and fundamental alarm troubleshooting.
3. Installing/qualifying new tool sets according to planned schedule in a timely manner.
4. Finding root cause and solving critical equipment issues.
5. Improving tool uptime availability and driving defect reduction.
6. Identifying and pursuing opportunities for hardware capability enhancement.
7. Building defense/monitoring system to prevent equipment failure or performance lost.
8. Managing vendor relationships and being responsible for module liaison with facilities, vendor, and manufacturing shift personnel.
9. Scheduled night/evening shifts, weekend on-duty, and on-call in 24/7 high-volume manufacturing environment are required for business needs.
Qualifikationen
Qualifications and Education:

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Germany and have:

1. Bachelor's, Master’s and/or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent fields.
2. Working experience knowledge in mechanical-related or semiconductor processes is preferred.
3. Academic skills of numerical analysis, statistics, optics, chemistry, or physics.
4. At least 1 year experience in semiconductor industry as Equipment Engineer is a strong add.
5. Able to lift weight consistent with applicable regulations and/or safety guidelines, including NIOSH lifting recommendations.
6. Able to work in a cleanroom environment, gowning up in coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glasses and gloves. Spend significant amount of time on the factory floor working on the tools.

Must have experience:

Experience as a semiconductor manufacturing equipment engineer is a plus.

Language Skills:

1. English: Full Professional Proficiency or Native.
2. German: Basic.
3. Mandarin: Nice to have.

7. Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and to own the efforts to address and resolve root causes.

Training/Onboarding:

Training in Taiwan for a period of at least 6 months
