European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (ESMC) is a joint venture between four technology leaders, TSMC, Bosch, Infineon and NXP, to establish a state-of-the-art semiconductor fab in the heart of Europe. To help us build the foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate:

Fire Protection System Engineer

The role:

As a Fire Protection System Engineer in our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the stable and reliable performance of fire protection and fire alarm systems. You will be responsible for overseeing the execution of new facility system start-ups, organizing and leading teams, managing and mitigating fire risks in a highly technical environment, and developing and directing contractor members. Your expertise in fire protection and alarm systems will be crucial in maintaining a safe environment.

1. Manage and collaborate effectively with outsourcing contractors to ensure that daily operation job assignments are successfully executed within established timelines and quality standards.
2. Foster continuous improvement of professional capabilities and skills of outsourcing engineers and members within the organization through training and development initiatives.
3. Foster cross-functional communication and problem-solving to facilitate streamlined processes and optimal outcomes.
4. Oversee the maintenance and management of fire protection and fire alarm systems, ensuring their stability and reliability to safeguard personnel and property.
5. Manage the expansion and modification of fire protection-related construction projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
6. Enhance the system's ability in all aspects, including fire risk management, by coordinating maintenance activities with contractor members.
7. Participate in or lead cross-sectional/function projects aimed at managing and mitigating fire risks in a highly technical environment, ensuring optimal results and successful project completion.
職務要求
Qualifications and Education:

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or relevant education and background.
2. Familiarly with Government fire codes is essential.
3. Familiarly with global fire codes.(i.e. FM or NFPA) is plus.

Must have experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or had experience with master’s degree, preferably in semi-conductor industry.

Language skills:

1. Fluent German and English is required.
2. Conversational Mandarin will be considered a plus.

Professional skills:

1. Oustanding project management.
2. Oustanding interpersonal communication.

Location: Dresden, Germany.
