Chemical Analysis Engineer (m/f/d)

Be the cornerstone of our material and environmental quality assurance: Safeguard the integrity of our semiconductor manufacturing process by ensuring the highest quality of all incoming materials, maintaining a pristine Fab environment, and optimizing our state-of-the-art analytical instruments. Lead our chemical analysis capabilities, collaborate across diverse teams and time zones to meet the exact demands of cutting-edge semiconductor production.

As an experienced ESMC Chemical Analysis Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing, operating, and leading our chemical analysis functions. Your responsibilities will include: 

1. Infrastructure & Capability Building: Architect, design, and establish cutting-edge chemical laboratory capabilities and capacity specifically tailored for advanced Fab environment and raw material quality management.
2. Operational Excellence: Cooperate closely with Facility and Fab teams to execute routine raw material monitoring, provide rapid and effective troubleshooting for critical events, and verify continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Cross-Organizational Leadership: Leverage your deep analytical resources and expertise to coach and empower stakeholders, ensuring data quality, and supporting troubleshooting efforts.
4. Strategic Expertise & Development: Cultivate and expand domain expertise to proactively address chemical analytical requirements, developing and implementing a strategic analytical roadmap.
5. Emergency Response: Be prepared for weekend and night-shift on-duty assignments to handle urgent cases and maintain continuous operational integrity.
6. Team Leadership & Development: Define, develop, and refine Operating Instructions (OIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Lead a dedicated group of technicians.
職務要求
1. Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive working experience in the semiconductor industry, chemical laboratories, or a closely related field.
3. Analytical expertise: Significant hands-on experience in chemical analysis, with deep expertise in techniques such as ICP-MS, GC-MS, IC, and various organic analysis methods.
4. Lab & material expertise: Proven experience in managing chemical laboratories, navigating complex chemical regulations, and comprehensive understanding of semiconductor raw materials.
5. Project & stakeholder management: Extensive experience in leading projects with multidisciplinary international teams, coupled with exceptional communication skills for engaging and influencing stakeholders.
6. Quality & risk management: Significant experience in management of analytical instruments, standard samples, Statistical Process Control (SPC), process change management, risk management, structured problem solving, and conducting supplier audits.
7. Leadership: Experience in leading a small team is a significant plus.
8. Mindset: Team-oriented with a positive attitude, flexible and detail-focused, communicative and collaborative, resilient under pressure.
9. Language: Fluent in English (company language). Basic communication skills in Mandarin or German are a plus.
10. Training: Available for on-the-job training in Taiwan, 6 to 9 months.
