The ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing individual income tax compliance, tax planning and advisory services. Additionally, this role manages immigration related matters, ensuring compliance with local and international tax and immigration laws. Hence, this ideal candidate will have expertise in personal taxation, cross border mobility, and immigration regulations to support domestic and expatriate employees.
職務說明
1. Tax Support:

(1) Ensure that our assignees have been given the appropriate level of tax support while on assignments.
(2) Ensure compliance with home and host personal income tax legislations.
(3) Manage tax audits and disputes related to individual filings.
(4) Coordinate with payroll / HR to ensure accurate tax withholdings and reporting.
(5) Advise on tax implications on international assignments (e.g. restructuring of compensation, tax equalization matters).
(6) Educate employees and managers on immigration and tax compliance.

2. Immigration and Mobility Support:

(1) Oversees work visa / permits processes.
(2) Liaising with immigration attorneys, service vendors and government agencies to ensure timely application / filings.
(3) Maintain records of employee immigration status and deadlines for renewals / extensions.

3. Cross Border Tax and Mobility Support:

(1) Develop and comment on policies that impact international assignments.
(2) Monitor changes in the global income tax and immigration laws impacting mobile employees.
(3) Prepare reports on tax exposure and immigration risk.
職務要求
1. Detail oriented with excellent numeric skills and be capable to work independently in a fast pace operational environment.
2. Excellent communication skills and be able to share information among different stakeholders on a clear and timely manner.
3. Flexible, positive and patience with a can-do mentality.
4. Trustworthy working attitude with passion, commitment, and accountability.
5. Able to handle sensitive and stressful situations/ strict deadline.
6. Able to seek improvement in current process and challenge status quo.
7. At least 8 years of relevant working experiences in expatriates immigration and tax or HR/ C&B related work preferably from multi-national companies.
8. Excellent computer skills including MS excel and MS office.
9. General knowledge on global compliance / regulation of income tax.
10. Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
