Overview of Role

We are seeking an Accounting Analyst for a 3-month temporary position to support our Accounting Team. You will be responsible for maintaining accounting booking, employee expense report review, reconcile spreadsheets and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will report to the Deputy Director of General Accounting Department. We are operating in a fast-paced environment with varying accounting tasks that require constant oversight and prioritization. This position is located in our San Jose, CA office, where we are currently operating in a hybrid environment working 4 days in the office and 1 day from home. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review invoices, expense reports, and other accounts payable for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment according to company policy
  • Perform G/L account reconciliation and ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
  • Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/ IFRS and compliance to internal policies
  • Sales/Use tax and property tax returns in various states
  • Assist with external financial audits and internal control audits
  • Assist/own projects as needed

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required
  • 3+ years of Accounting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS

  • Ability to handle high volumes of work accurately and in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and detail oriented
  • Be flexible to reach win-win results
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong team player and work independently
  • Willing to work overtime to complete the responsibilities
  • Conversational proficiency in Mandarin
