TSMC Arizona is looking for a Facilities Instrumentation & Controls Engineering intern to join our 4-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. TSMC Arizona’s Facilities organization is responsible for operating and maintaining electrical, mechanical, chemical, water and industrial automation systems across more than 4 million sq-ft of office, cleanroom and industrial space.
Job Description:
Your main responsibilities include:
- Responsible for system design, configuration, integration, implementation, repairing, and troubleshooting facility PLC and SCADA systems.
- This includes calibration of system instrumentation field devices, management of PLC control panels, ladder logic, field instrumentation loops, network communications, alarm management and SCADA system.
- Other special projects relevant to the section.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:
- Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university in a Bachelors/Masters in Electronics, Data Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or Controls/Instrumentation related field.
- Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) on-site at our Phoenix location, from:
- Semester system: May 19th, 2025 – August 1st, 2025
- Quarter system: June 16th, 2025 -- August 29th, 2025
- Understanding of BMS or FMCS
- Team player, good communication skills, ability to handle ambiguity
