We are looking for an Industrial Engineer professional who can demonstrate proficient data analysis skills and can communicate well across departments and organizational levels. Excellent teamwork skills and a can-do attitude are important for this team. Project management and leadership skills, with high quality and reliability standards, are also beneficial in this role.
- Promote Fab performance though theory of constraints identification and bottleneck management
- Identify waste and study tool productivity improvement and cost reduction opportunities
- Operation resource planning and management
While this position is scheduled to work core business hours, Monday-Friday, there may be times when additional hours are necessary.
The final offered salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Factory capacity planning and management.
- Tool productivity improvement. Work with fab engineer to indentify process contraints, bottlenecks, opportunities.
- Cost planning and management
- Capital investment evaluation and control
- Fab and office layout planning
- Production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand and delivery need
Requirements:
- Experience in semiconductor industry preferred
- BS/MS degree in Industial Engineering or related engineering field
- Understand or learn fundamental semicondutor chip manufacturing process
- Strong ability to multi-task and focus on multiple projects simultaneously
- Statistical data analysis
- Work with strong attention to detail
- Be highly motivated employee and drive for solutions
- Work as a part of a team and take lead when appropriate
- Strong skills with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- SQL and Power BI experience preferred
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing

At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $80,100 and $117,480 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience, and the position level.
