TSMC Arizona is looking for a Water Section Design Engineer to join our F21 FAB project located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona . The Water Section Design Engineer is responsible for participating in the Design and Contracting of the new Fab Water systems. Our systems are designed to run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without factory interruption, creating a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment. Design engineers works closely with manufacturing, facility teams, suppliers and vendors daily to understand systems reliability and quality concerns and work to resolve issues.

Job Description:

Your main responsibilities include:

• Planning, system design, and outsourcing for the construction of new fab overseas.
• Cross-organizational communication, coordination, and problem-solving.
• Assessment and implementation of innovative technologies to address new process challenges and promote environmental friendliness.
• Design tailored to international and local regulations and requirements.

Recruitment Requirements:

• Graduated from university or above with a major in science or engineering.
• More than 2 years of experience in water systems in the semiconductor industry. 
• Possess project management and communication coordination skills, with experience in building fab being a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• May spend extended hours working inside and outside in all weather conditions, and in awkward body positions which can cause physical discomfort and strain. 
• Required to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and to adjust heavy objects.
• The position will come in contact with sharp, hot, and cold equipment, and parts. 
• Must be medically qualified to wear a personal respirator.
• Sensory demands include exposure to the smells associated with industrial chemical operations, exposure to the sounds associated with powered tools and industrial equipment. 
• Must have the ability to safely climb ladders, and work at elevation from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, roofs, or platforms, and the ability to work in confined spaces.
