Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. In 2023, the company served 528 customers with 11,895 products for high performance computing, smartphones, IoT, automotive, and consumer electronics, and is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs with annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

Design and Technology Platform (DTP) provides differentiated and world-leading design solutions to enable the implementation of System on Chip (SoC) for leading AI/HPC, communication, automotive and IoT applications on TSMC's diverse silicon and packaging technology platform. We work with the world's leading SoC design teams and ecosystem experts to promote industry-leading process design kits (PDKs) and reusable design blocks for the semiconductor intellectual property core (IP), including standard cell libraries, embedded memory, general-purpose input/output (GPIO), simulation and interface IP, as well as electronic design automation (EDA) tools and design flows for monolithic SoCs and heterogeneous 3DICs. This allows us to accelerate the process of transforming innovation into silicon chips and creating revolutionary changes in daily life!
職務說明
1. PERC (Programmable Electric Rule Check) Techfile Development:

(1) Develop and maintain PERC techfiles to ensure accurate and efficient electrical rule checking.
(2) Collaborate with design teams to understand and implement rule requirements.
(3) Continuously improve techfiles based on feedback and technological advancements.

2. Automation Flow Development:

(1) Design and implement automation flows to streamline various processes within the organization.
(2) Utilize scripting and programming skills to develop efficient and scalable automation solutions.
(3) Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automation flows into existing systems.

3. Quality Control (QC) Flow Development:

(1) Develop QC flows to ensure the accuracy and reliability of design rule checks and other processes.
(2) Implement robust QC measures to detect and resolve issues early in the design process.
(3) Maintain and update QC flows as needed to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

4. Customer Support and Issue Solving:

(1) Provide technical support to customers, addressing and resolving issues related to PERC techfiles and automation flows.
(2) Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
(3) Document and track customer issues, providing timely updates and solutions.

5. New Tool Feature Engagement with EDA Partners:

(1) Collaborate with EDA partners to engage in the development and implementation of new tool features.
(2) Stay informed about the latest advancements in EDA tools and technologies.
(3) Provide feedback and suggestions to EDA partners to enhance tool capabilities.
職務要求
1. Qualifications:

(1) Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
(2) Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Perl, TCL).
(3) Experience in PERC techfile development or automation flow creation.
(4) Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
(5) Experience with quality control processes and methodologies.
(6) Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and partners.
(7) Knowledge of EDA tools and semiconductor design processes is a plus.
(8) Adequate proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication and technical documentation.
