European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (ESMC) is a joint venture between four technology leaders, TSMC, Bosch, Infineon and NXP, to establish a state-of-the-art semiconductor fab in the heart of Europe. To help us build the foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate:

Incoming Material Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and elevating supplier quality, meticulously enhancing material excellence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure we meet the stringent material requirements that define the future of semiconductor technology. 職務說明
1. Manage the quality of incoming materials to ensure seamless wafer performance and meets the standards of our mother fabs in Taiwan.
2. Drive Material quality stability and Excursion closure
3. Evaluate new material and conduct risk assessment
4. Partner with a wide array of material-related organizations (suppliers, Material Management teams, labs, procurement, facilities, and fab teams), to establish a robust material safety process and Supply Chain improvement
5. Lead supplier quality management initiatives, including comprehensive quality system assessments, onsite audits, thorough event investigations, targeted quality improvements, meticulous process change control, and proactive excursion prevention.

Qualifications and Education:

1. Legally eligible to work in Germany.
2. Available for on-the-job training in Taiwan for one year.
3. Master’s, Diploma or Ph.D. with Major in Mechanical-, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or related Science field.
4. Experienced with material quality management eg suppliers/materials evaluation, implementation of Statistical Process Control, managing supplier process changes.
5. In-depth understanding of local regulations and the business ecosystems and compliance.
6. Outstanding team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, openminded and curious to discover and learn.
7. Familiarity with chemical regulations and business ecosystems a strong plus.
8. Prior experience in the semiconductor industry and fab/cleanroom environment a strong plus.

Language Skills:

1. Fluent in English.
2. Basic command of German and Mandarin Chinese a plus.
