Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. In 2023, the company served 528 customers with 11,895 products for high performance computing, smartphones, IoT, automotive, and consumer electronics, and is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs with annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.
Job Responsibilities
HRBP is a strategic partner to make impact on our people and organization. We are looking for HR talent who is passionate in people and organizational development and able to influence client's decision and co-work with the business leaders for strategic solutions to support the business growth.

As one of the client-facing HRBP for R&D organizations, you will:

1. Create effective responses and sustained solutions to individual employee by carrying out employees’ key people events and administrative HR activities
2. Monitor existing policies and procedures through making sure people data disciplinary, and timely communicating policies and procedures to managers and employees
3. Provide immediate fixes to acute employee emergencies via effectively responding to employee needs
4. Understand key HR metrics by carrying out in-depth people data analysis in order to diagnose organizational issues, support talent strategy, organizational priorities and come up with intervention plan
5. Work closely with other team members and HR COE partners on various HRBP initiatives and projects
6. Navigate the organization and collecting client's voice via official and unofficial communication channels
7. Other HRBP related ad-hoc tasks
Job Qualifications
To success and thrive in this role, you would:
 
1. Have bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Management, or the related domains is preferred.
2. Have 3+ years of working experience in HR, especially with client-facing tier-1 HR service, or learning & development, or employee relations experiences is preferred.
3. Be a team player with good demonstrations from past experiences is a must.
4. Possess resilient, change and learning agility, team player spirit, high EQ and AQ. (Adversity Quotient)
5. Have interests in semiconductor industry and business is a must, with a good understanding already is a plus.
6. Be passionate about personal development and have career aspiration in strategic business partnering role is a plus.
7. Be motivated by making visible impacts through effectively influencing stakeholders, managers and employees is preferred.
8. Strong Analytical skills with digital literacy.
