Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. In 2023, the company served 528 customers with 11,895 products for high performance computing, smartphones, IoT, automotive, and consumer electronics, and is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs with annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.
Job Responsibilities
1. Responsible for developing strategies for sourcing, purchasing, supply chain risk management and cost management in the general affairs field, with a focus on IT NB/PC/telecom/outsourcing service, Forwarder/Broker, and MFG GA.
2. Develop and implement strategy, conduct market analysis including supplier landscape, capabilities, sustainability, and technology roadmaps to generate business insights.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive cross-functional alignment, drive savings, provide market intelligence, and mitigate supply chain risk management.
4. Identify opportunities to Develop, improve or simplify processes, guidelines and policies for effective supplier management practices, order fulfillment, inventory management and logistics activities.
5. Lead and demonstrate the partnership in negotiations with suppliers for strategic sourcing events/RFQ process, and contract management.
Job Qualifications
1. Demonstrate a "can do" attitude in a rapidly changing environment and display the ability to effectively cope with ambiguous scenarios and work in a dynamic environment.
2. Possess logical thinking, strategic planning abilities, influence within supply chains, and a trustworthy working attitude with high commitment and accountability.
3. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in market analysis.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
5. Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
6. Experience in contract management and supplier negotiations.
7. With high learning agility, open and inclusive mindset, and confidence in dealing with senior executives.
8. 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain management, familiar with semiconductor sector is preferred.
9. Has a good command of both written and oral English, second language like Japanese will be a plus. 
10. Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint, familiar with SAP.
