European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (ESMC) is a joint venture between four technology leaders, TSMC, Bosch, Infineon and NXP, to establish a state-of-the-art semiconductor fab in the heart of Europe. To help us build the foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate:

Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA) Engineer

The role:

The ideal CSA Engineer will have a strong foundation in CSA design and project management. Responsibilities will encompass code interpretation, project planning and scheduling, resource monitoring and control, interface coordination, as well as oversight on quality, safety, and security. The successful candidate must possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills to ensure that all construction activities align with project milestones, maintaining high quality and safety standards throughout. Job Responsibilities
1. Ensuring CSA design compliance with local codes and regulations.
2. Overall control of the project schedule.
3. Planning, allocation, and monitoring of resources and construction materials.
4. Logistic planning and management of the construction site.
5. Coordination and integration of interfaces between various construction contractors.
6. Managing related permits and communicating with authorities or relevant parties on construction matters.
7. Handling construction payments and change orders.
8. Managing safety, quality, and security on the construction site.
9. Inspecting and documenting the construction site.
10. Monitoring the design progress of the design consultant and identifying potential risks based on construction schedule requirements.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications and Education:

1. Degree in a relevant field, such as Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
2. Familiar with project scheduling software (Microsoft Project, etc), graphic software (AutoCAD, etc) and BIM software (Revit, etc) is a plus.

Must have experience:

1. At least 5 years of experience in CSA engineering or a related field.
2. In-depth understanding and practical experience on German and international building regulations and construction sequence.

Language Skills:

1. Fluent German and English is required. 
2. Conversational Mandarin is a plus.

Professional Skills:

1. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with team members and stakeholders. 
2. Exceptional problem-solving abilities are necessary for successfully working under pressure.
