TSMC Arizona is looking for a Summer 2025 Proprietary Information Protection (PIP) Department intern to join our 4-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As a PIP Intern, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values – Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust.

TSMC Arizona’s PIP Department is responsible for:

  • Safeguarding the company's critical information assets, infrastructure and information systems against cyber threats.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity controls and protection.
  • Ensuring compliance with company security policies and guidelines.

Summer interns can effectively contribute to the cybersecurity efforts of a large-scale global company and gain valuable industry experiences.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university, bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Cybersecurity.
  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) on-site at our Phoenix location from:
    • Semester system: May 19th, 2025 – August 1st, 2025
    • Quarter system: June 16th, 2025 – August 29th, 2025
  • Candidates must possess the below technical skills:
    • Understanding of fundamental cybersecurity concepts and familiar with common cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
    • Understanding of network security, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and antivirus.
    • Ability of cybersecurity risk assessment and compliance check methods, such as vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
    • Programming skill is a plus, such as C++ and Java.
    • Relevant certification is a plus, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH.

 

  • Strong communication, computer, presentation, listening, working with others needed to contribute to the team and TSMC Arizona’s culture.
