Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. In 2023, the company served 528 customers with 11,895 products for high performance computing, smartphones, IoT, automotive, and consumer electronics, and is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs with annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.
Job Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with TSMC’s objectives.
2. Conduct market research to understand industry trends and hot topics, competitors’ activities, and market opportunities.
3. Collaborate with technology owners, event teams, design, and content teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
4. Define and maintain brand guidelines and ensure all communications adhere to these standards.
5. Analyze brand performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
6. Craft compelling brand narratives and positioning statements for technologies and TSMC’s core values and mission. 
7. Lead brand initiatives and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and perception / positive reputation building.
8. Manage and mentor brand strategists and marketing team members.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging marketing strategies.
Job Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Communications or related field. Master’s degree a plus.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in brand strategy, marketing or related roles.
3. Proven track record of successful brand strategy and management for a global company or organization.
4. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
5. Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
6. Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
7. Proficiency in brand management tools and marketing software and methodology.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
