Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. In 2023, the company served 528 customers with 11,895 products for high performance computing, smartphones, IoT, automotive, and consumer electronics, and is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs with annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.
Job Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
2. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and task lists.
3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives. 
4. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
5. Manage project resources, including team members, budget, and equipment. 
6. Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders regularly.
7. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and expectations.
8. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful elements and areas for improvement.
Job Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
2. Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the semiconductor or technology industry.
3. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
4. Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
5. Proficient in project management software.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Project management certification is a plus.
9. Ability to work across regions, teams, and functions in an organization.
10. Excellent presentation skills and in preparing project updates for presentation or briefing to management and leadership teams.
