As an Operation and Maintenance technician for the Facilities HPM L10 Group. Maintain equipment to ensure zero impacts to manufacturing. Operate, maintain, and monitor vacuum and abatement systems. 

 

Position typically assigned to a 12-hour day or night shift compressed work week schedule with 3 days on one week and 4 days on the next.  This position will be for night shift.

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Perform daily operations to include reviewing monitoring equipment, taking rounds, giving/taking pass down to/from oncoming/off going shift, reading, and reviewing trend data, and performing material/equipment change outs.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance and corrective maintenance on equipment using procedures, O&M manuals, drawings. and diagrams. Working with Hazardous Production Materials and electrical/mechanical equipment.
  • Work shift schedules day or night and carry pager and radio for on duty call outs. 
  • May involve emergency overtime hours or special projects overtime hours. Use of Respirator/SCBA gear, wearing personnel protective equipment (PPE), safety shoes, working in cleanroom environment, forklift operations and some heavy lifting (50#) are required in an indoor/outdoor environment.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong professional attitude with excellent teamwork skills, strong sense of work ethic ownership and reliable accountability in work execution and attendance.
  • Computer skills including MS Office, and work application programs (reports, material ordering, and Shipping).
  • Knowledgeable and reliable in operating automated systems with associated HMI controls.
  • Mechanical abilities to perform system and equipment troubleshooting and repairs on gas/chemical/CMP/vacuum/abatement delivery units and support equipment.
  • Electronic experience to perform system and equipment troubleshooting and repairs on PLC controlled systems, components, sensors, and other electronic devices.
  • Must meet minimum physical requirements: i.e., working from ladders, lifting 50lbs  loads, confined space entry, working 12 hr. shifts which includes recurrent walking with standard breaks, wearing respirator and other PPE, and emergency response team member requirements.
  • Ability to generate and follow written procedures, attend pass down meetings and exchange operational information between shifts.
  • Semiconductor experience preferred and any Gas/Chem/CMP/Vacuum/Abatement systems knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to work any shift, overtime hours, carry pager, wear safety boots, and be a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT)
  • 1-4 years of experience in these areas preferred: gases/chemical/CMP or vacuum/abatement equipment or other mechanical/electrical equipment maintenance role.

Pay Transparency / Benefits statement 
At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $26.08 and $31.35 per hour. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience, and the position level.  TSMC’s total compensation package consists of market competitive pay, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
