Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

Seeking an experienced Privacy Data (PII) Protection Specialist with over 8 years of experience to develop, implement, and maintain privacy data policies in compliance with regulations and best practices. The specialist will collaborate with legal team, IT development team, and HR business owners to develop privacy data-related systems.
Job Responsibilities
1. Provide guidance and support to internal teams on data privacy matters, including data handling practices, consent management, and data breach response.
2. Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), data protection impact assessments to identify and mitigate privacy risks associated with new projects and initiatives.
3. Serve as the primary point of contact for data privacy inquiries from internal teams, customers, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, HR, Information Security, and business owners, to integrate privacy considerations within systems.
5. Manage and maintain up-to-date records of data processing activities.
6. Support Information Security, Technology Risk Management, or Business Continuity Management, or other related assignments, need to take the PM role of internal projects and take the PM role in internal projects.
Job Qualifications
1. At least 8 years of experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining privacy data (PII) policies and procedures in accordance with applicable regulations and industry best practices.
2. Experience in privacy data protection system implementation, including file & data encryption, database encryption, tokenization, pseudonymization, and anonymization
3. Experience in system implementation and handling to fulfilling DSARs (e.g., Access, Rectification, Forgotten, Portability, etc.) requirements.
4. Maintain PIMS (e.g., BS 10012, GDPR, ISO 27701, TPIPAS) certifications and related requirements.
5. Good communication and reporting structure planning skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
6. Serious and responsible, enthusiastic, stress-resistant, and capable of execution. Open and proactive, with good communication, coordination, expression and teamwork skills.
7. Possess creativity, independent thinking ability and strong ambition.
8. Fluent in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Chinese and English.
9. Willing to share professional knowledge and personal experience.
10. Good logical thinking, data analysis, project management, communication, coordination, and self-learning abilities.
