TSMC Arizona is looking for a CIM Engineer to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. TSMC Arizona’s Computer Integrated Manufacturing is responsible for developing and maintaining intelligent manufacturing systems.

Job Description:

You will be assigned to one of the following five roles according to your interest,

1 to 3: Software Developers, Dispatching Algorithm Developers or Infrastructure Maintainers

Role Description:

• Design and development of intelligent manufacturing solutions for factory automation, manufacturing scheduling and dispatching, decision making and engineering analysis.
• Heterogeneous data integration and corresponding solution design and development.
• Server maintenance and related setting supports, including routine upgrade, troubleshooting with AP teams, high-availability architecture, virtual machines solutions, firewall rule, IIS, Nginx, database middle etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above with major in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematic or related fields.
• Familiarity in programming languages such as C/C++/C#, Java, HTML5, SQL, VBA.
• Experiences and skills in optimization, scheduling and A.I. is a plus.
• Experiences and skills in system infrastructure architecture is a plus e.g., VMWare, Linux/MS solution, Nginx, K8S/Docker etc.
• Ability to speak and write in Mandarin Chinese is a plus but not required.

4 & 5: Defense system or Process tuning system maintainers

Role Description:

• Server maintenance and related setting supports, including routine upgrade, troubleshooting with AP teams and virtual machines solutions etc.
• Coordinate the project for system enhancement and communicate requirement with users.
• Support application migration and participate in technical training from headquarters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above with major in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Business Management, Information Management.
• Familiarity in programming languages such as Python, C/C++/C#, Java, HTML5, SQL, VBA.
• Experiences and skills in power BI and A.I. is a plus.
• Ability to speak and write in Mandarin Chinese is a plus but not required.
