TSMC Arizona is looking for a Gas and Chemical Systems Construction Engineer to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. The Gas and Chemical Systems Construction Engineer is responsible for participating in establishing new Fab G&C systems. Our systems are designed to run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without factory interruption, creating a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment. Construction Engineers works closely with manufacturing, facility teams, suppliers and vendors daily to understand systems reliability and quality concerns and work to resolve issues.
Job Description:
Your main responsibilities include:
- Participate in the establishment of new fab G&C systems
- Responsible for the construction schedule and quality control of the new fab G&C system
- G&C system commissioning
- Develop and cultivate local construction contractors
Recruitment Requirements:
- Majored in construction management/chemical engineering/environmental engineering
- Experience in semiconductor industry gases/chemical systems for more than 2 years
- Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project software

- Strong ability to handle pressure
- Outgoing personality with excellent social skills
- Possess leadership qualities and good communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- May spend extended hours working inside and outside in all weather conditions, and in awkward body positions which can cause physical discomfort and strain.
- Required to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and to adjust heavy objects.
- The position will come in contact with sharp, hot, and cold equipment, and parts.
- Must be medically qualified to wear a personal respirator.
- Sensory demands include exposure to the smells associated with industrial chemical operations, exposure to the sounds associated with powered tools and industrial equipment.
- Must have the ability to safely climb ladders, and work at elevation from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, roofs, or platforms, and the ability to work in confined spaces.
