Disciplines include  Electrical, Mechanical, Waste, Water, New Fab Build, Construction, Gas / Chemical systems

 

Responsibilities:

  • Works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
  • Ensure accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Implements, and communicates, an operational plan for completing the project.
  • Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.
  • Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
  • Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary to complete the project.
  • Selects materials, equipment needed to complete a project
  • Additional duties based on business needs and discipline focus.

 

Experience, Education, and Training:

  • High School graduation or GED is required
  • Technical College or Trade Program is preferred
  • Experience with laboratory or analytical equipment is preferred
  • Previous knowledge in operation of industrial and/or commercial processing equipment
  • Experience working in an industrial setting are highly preferred
  • Competency in basic mathematic skills including fractions, addition, subtraction, division

 

Physical Requirements:

  • May spend extended hours working inside and outside in all weather conditions, and in awkward body positions which can cause physical discomfort and strain.
  • Required to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and to adjust heavy objects. 
  • Foreseeably the position will come in contact with sharp, hot, and cold equipment, and parts. 
  • Medically qualified to wear a personal respirator.
  • Sensory demands include exposure to the smells associated with industrial chemical operations, exposure to the sounds associated with powered tools and industrial equipment. 
  • Ability to safely climb ladders, and work at elevation from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, roofs, or platforms
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
