Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. In 2023, the company served 528 customers with 11,895 products for high performance computing, smartphones, IoT, automotive, and consumer electronics, and is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs with annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.
Job Responsibilities
1. Act as the Facility Digital Department Engineer to analyze security risks associated with the OT environment and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
2. Identify and solve complex FAC’s IT & OT security problems in a timely and effective manner.
3. Perform tasks related to FAC digital transformation.
Job Qualifications
1. Educational background must be at least a master's degree, with no restriction on the field of study.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT & OT security (ratio 6:4) or a related field is required. Experience with ICS systems (e.g., SCADA, DCS, PLC, Industrial networks, AIoT) is a plus.
3. Familiarity with IT & OT security standards; having CISSP or IEC 62443 certification is a plus.
4. Familiarity with data analysis & visualization and project control; experience with Power BI/Microsoft Project is a plus.
5. Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
6. Must have good communication skills to collaborate effectively with Facility (FAC) members and stakeholders from other departments (e.g., IT, ITS, vendors).
7. Self-motivated, with integrity, a result-oriented personality, and a team player.
