Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. In 2023, the company served 528 customers with 11,895 products for high performance computing, smartphones, IoT, automotive, and consumer electronics, and is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs with annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

Job Responsibilities
1. Work with system development teams to implement innovative solutions on integration systems to accelerate quality and working efficiency.
2. Co-operate with R&D engineers to develop packaging/bumping-related new technology.
3. Work on driving leading-edge process/device development and optimization of packaging/bumping devices to meet scaling, performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.
4. Work with YED/module teams for quality and yield improvement.
Identify and solve problems related to the packaging/bumping process.
5. Work with front-end and BEOL integration teams to provide innovative approaches to develop advanced backend solutions with competitive performance and value.
6. Handle customer requirements and problems.
Job Qualifications
1. Experience with NTO platform or past experience as front-end integration engineers preferred.
2. Basic knowledge in one of the following languages: VBA, SQL, Python, or R.
3. Master's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, or related engineering fields.
4. Must be effectively bilingual in Mandarin and English.
5. Over 1 year of experience in process integration is preferred.
6. Work locations: Taoyuan (Longtan), Hsinchu, Miaoli (Zhunan), Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan.
