Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. It is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs, with an annual capacity of over 17 million 12-inch equivalent wafers in 2025. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and the Company began construction on a specialty technology fab in Dresden, Germany, in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.
Zuständigkeiten
1. Strategic AI System Leadership: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex AI software systems, from strategic planning and architectural design to hands-on coding, testing, and production deployment. Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of AI solutions.
2. Technical Team Leadership & Mentorship: Directly manage and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Drive effective cross-functional communication and collaboration with product, research, and other engineering teams.
3. AI Tooling & Workflow Optimization: Expertly utilize and evaluate advanced AI coding assistants and platforms such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot (or similar), and OpenAI Codex. Proactively identify and integrate open-source alternatives where appropriate to optimize development workflows and productivity.
4. AI-First DevOps & Enablement: Coach, guide, and empower DevOps and MLOps engineers in the adoption of Agentic AI paradigms and “AI-first” development practices, streamlining deployment pipelines and operationalizing AI models effectively.
Qualifikationen
1. 7+ year experience in software development and large system design.
2. 3+ year experience in leading developers and cross team communication.
3. Hands on end-to-end AI coding (plan, design, coding, testing, deployment).
4. Fluent in using SDD, DDD, and TDD to drive AI agent for full stack coding and development.
5. Familiar with using mainstream AI coding solutions like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and optionally their opensource alternatives.
6. Master in using following techniques in production level large projects: agent orchestration, and harness engineering.
