Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. It is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs, with an annual capacity of over 17 million 12-inch equivalent wafers in 2025. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and the Company began construction on a specialty technology fab in Dresden, Germany, in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.
About the Talent Acquisition Planning Team:

Our Talent Acquisition Planning (TAP) team is at the forefront of shaping TSMC's future workforce. We are a strategic team dedicated to optimizing our global talent acquisition ecosystem through data-driven insights, proactive planning, and the implementation of best-in-class processes. We partner closely with HR, business leaders, and TA operations to ensure we identify, attract, assess, and retain the talent critical for our sustained growth and innovation.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Talent Acquisition Planning Analyst to drive critical strategic initiatives within our team. In this role, you will own specific projects from inception to completion, leveraging your expertise to identify market trends, benchmark our practices, and develop actionable recommendations. You will be expected to independently engage with internal and external stakeholders across various levels and functions, managing relationships and influencing outcomes to ensure successful project delivery. Zuständigkeiten
What You'll Do:

As a TAP Analyst, you will take full ownership of key strategic projects, including:

1. Project Leadership & Management: Independently define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Develop and execute project plans, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful completion.
2. Strategic Market Research: Proactively conduct in-depth research on global talent acquisition trends, emerging technologies, competitive landscapes, and best practices in areas such as workforce planning, candidate experience, assessment methodologies, and TA technology.
3. Independent Stakeholder Engagement: Lead and manage relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., TA Leaders, HR Business Partners, Business Leaders) across various departments. Conduct interviews, facilitate workshops, and gather requirements to deeply understand their talent needs, process challenges, and strategic objectives. Act as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor, adeptly synthesizing input and managing expectations.
4. Benchmarking & Gap Analysis: Systematically benchmark our current Talent Acquisition processes, tools, and performance against leading industry standards and competitors. Identify critical gaps and opportunities for significant improvement, framing them within the context of your project.
5. Qualitative & Quantitative Analysis: Perform sophisticated qualitative and quantitative analysis on internal and external data sets (e.g., talent market data, hiring metrics, candidate feedback, process efficiency data) to uncover insights, predict future talent needs, and measure the impact of TA initiatives relevant to your projects.
6. Strategic Recommendation Development: Translate complex research and analysis into clear, data-backed strategic recommendations, outlining potential solutions, implementation roadmaps, and anticipated business impact for your owned projects.
7. Presentation, Influence & Reporting: Design and deliver compelling presentations and comprehensive reports for senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Effectively communicate complex findings, influence decision-making, and provide regular project updates through persuasive storytelling and strong data visualization.
8. Process Improvement & Implementation Support: Based on project outcomes, contribute to the design and optimization of TA processes, policies, and frameworks, and support the initial stages of implementation where applicable.
Qualifikationen
What We're Looking For:

1. 4-8 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Strategy, Project Management, Consulting, Data Analytics, or a related strategic role.
2. Demonstrated experience in leading projects independently, from conception through to delivery, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
3. Proven track record of independently engaging with and influencing diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
4. Strong business acumen and the ability to connect TA strategies to overall business objectives.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of translating data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely and effectively facilitate discussions.
8. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA, HR, Analytics, Project Management) is required.
9. Experience with HRIS, ATS, or other HR/TA technology platforms is a bonus.
