European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (ESMC) is a joint venture between four technology leaders, TSMC, Bosch, Infineon and NXP, to establish a state-of-the-art semiconductor fab in the heart of Europe. To help us build the foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate:

Facility Project Cost Control Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Facility Project Cost Control Engineer, you will assist the Project Management Team by breaking down overall cost targets into package-specific goals and tracking progress towards these targets. You will develop a comprehensive list of suppliers and market prices for various procurement packages, provide regular status updates, review and update cost assumptions and controls, and engage in meetings with key stakeholders.
Zuständigkeiten
1. New challenges: Become part of the facility team to build ESMC's 300mm semiconductor fab.
2. Ownership & Optimization: Support the Project Management team. Develop CAPEX forecasts and spending curves over the project timeline to ensure accurate and reliable budgeting. 
3. Expertise: Bidder lists analysis & enablement of timeline optimized procurement processes. Review bidder offers and identify negotiation levers securing the most favorable terms in terms of costs and quantity.
4. Data-Driven Decision Making: Review contractor’s quotations, verify invoices, and create efficient payment plans to ensure financial accuracy and improve cash flow management.
5. Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings, reliability improvements, and integration of best practices.
6. Collaboration: Identify and address potential interface conflicts early to prevent disruptions and maintain project targets. Ad hoc facility team support.
7. Management: Conduct value engineering workshops on items argued by contractors as being change orders (not covered by lump sum) to support cost reduction and facilitate decision making on ideas by dedicated value engineering programs.
Qualifikationen
Qualifications and Education:

Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Financial Economics, or related fields.

Must have experience:

1. 2-5+ years previous experience in Cost controlling, Budgeting CAPE / OPEX is required.
2. professional background in Cost controlling review and updating, Value engineering of facilities, infrastructure and systems of industrial processing plant or semiconductor experience desired.

Language Skills:

Fluent German and English language skills.

Professional Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Personal Attributes:

1. Ability to work cooperatively with other engineers and management.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
